Diverse but all based on the basic principles of construction and project management. With this cumulative experience we all ended up doing work in the healthcare industry that led to our paths joining at the same junction. Realising that our different strengths together gives us an advantage that makes us a force to be reckoned with. We decided to join our strengths and form a unique specialised unit offering an advanced service Project Management Company that is not easily matched in the market on experience.
With hands on sit e management we are part of the project from inception to completion. We believe that a project is managed on site and not from an office. We are involved with decision making, health & safety, and manage the cost control with the quantity surveyors.
Deon has a wealth of experience in the built environment across a broad spectrum. He started his career in the architectural sector, fixed and mobile telecommunication infrastructure. He managed his own Architectural, Project Management and Construction company for many years where the company won awards from the NHBRC as Top Builder in Gauteng and runner up respectively. In this time he was involved in the design, built and management of residential, industrial and commercial developments. He then entrenched himself in the medical infrastructure industry gaining vast experience in hospitals, related infrastructure developments and construction as Senior Project Manager. He has experience in the building of new hospitals, expansion and revamping of medical facilities of more than 70 projects. He is an experienced on site project manager with excellent technical experience and hands on solution skills gained from design to construction. He gain experience abroad in the UK and New Zealand (Awarded Gold for Design and Built by NZ MBA)
We have experienced schedulers that continuously interrogate the programme and progress on site to ensure accurate reporting on progress.
30 Years’ post-qualification experience in Architecture, Capital, Infrastructure, and Property Development Projects in the Healthcare, Commercial and Residential sectors.
Some noteworthy projects include:
· the R320mil Royal Kimberley Heart Centre and Hospital in Kimberley, Northern Cape. A specialist Hospital for Lenmed with a heart centre, Radiation bunker, Chemeo unit and Heart Centre.
· the R408mil specialised 100-bed “Pretoria Head and Neck Hospital” development for Growthpoint Properties Limited in Menlyn Maine, Pretoria, Gauteng. Targeted to be the First Green Star Hospital in RSA. The Tenant is Cintocare. Completion August 2020.
· With more than R1bil in project value projects such as Life Healtcare Piet Retief Hospital, Glynview Mental Health Hospital, Poortview Hospital, St Joseph’s Hospital, Mediclinc Durbanvile Day Hospital and Theatre Complex, Advance health Soweto and Groenkloof Hospitals, Akeso Arcadia and Parktown Hospitals, Lenmed Kathu Hospital, Netcare Pinehaven Expansion and various other specialised medical projects.
